ATTENTION MARYLAND REAL ESTATE AGENTS! Starting October 1, 2010, a contract for the sale of residential property (1 to 4 units) must include a notice that, if the property is sold between January 1 and June 30, the buyer has 60 days from the settlement date to appeal the property's assessed value or tax classification.
